About the Author
George C. Klein, Ph.D., is professor of sociology and anthropology at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois. He has served as a part-time police officer, is a trained hostage negotiator, and has served as a consultant to a S.W.A.T. team. He is also a consultant to the Behavioral Science Unit at the F.B.I. Academy. Dr. Klein has written articles on mental health, criminal justice, hostage negotiation, and terrorism. His first book was The Adventure: The Quest for My Romanian Babies (Hamilton Books, 2007).

extremely poor print quality

First, my apologies to the authors. My comments are in regard to the extremely poor quality of the print in the book, and are NOT related to their intellectual contributions. I just purchased this book and the print quality is terrible!!! Pages look like they were printed on a cheap inkjet printer that was running out of ink. Streaky and hard to read. There is nowhere to complain about the quality of a product except within the individual product site. Shame on Springer for allowing such a poor quality product to bear their name.
