About the Author
Pratul Kumar Saraswati is a Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has been teaching micropaleontology, paleontology and petroleum geosciences related courses for the past 25 years. As a biostratigrapher in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation he was also involved in hydrocarbon exploration in India.

M. S. Srinivasan is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Geology at Banaras Hindu University. He established the micropaleontology laboratory at BHU and initiated both teaching and research programme in micropaleontology and paleoceanography. His active participation in the Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) and other international scientific cruises boosted deep sea research in India.

About the Author
Christo G. Georgiev has worked in the Forecasting Department of the National Meteorological Service (NMS) of Bulgaria since 1993 as a satellite meteorology researcher, Associate Professor since 2004 and as Professor since 2012. He is well acquainted with the meteorological satellites, weather analysis and forecasting matters, having worked for the NMS of Bulgaria in a position of Programme Manager of Forecasting Technology (2008-2011), Head of Operational Weather Forecasting (2011-2014) and Head of Remote Sensing since 1 December 2015. He has taught at various national and international training courses for using satellite data in weather forecasting.

Patrick Santurette is the current Head of Météo-France Marine and Oceanographic department after being head of the Météo-France Forecast Laboratory where he has worked for 19 years, in collaboration with operational forecasters to improve their methods and tools. Previously he worked during 10 years as senior forecaster in the National Forecasting Centre of Météo-France. Dr. Santurette is in daily contact with operational forecasters, and he regularly organizes workshops dedicated to French operational forecasters. Dr. Santurette actively participates in forecast training in the framework of the Météo-France school, including those held in English for foreign weather services.

Karine Maynard works in the Forecast Laboratory inside the forecasting department of Météo-France for eleven years. She received a PhD degree in atmospheric dynamics in 1997 from the Pierre et Marie Curie University, Paris. She was then a Postdoctoral Research Fellows and works on impact on land-use changes on the African Climate and on impact of land-surface processes on the inter-annual variability of tropical climate. In September 2004, she joined the Forecast Laboratory of Météo-France where she works in collaboration with operational forecasters to improve their methods and tools.

About the Author
Tony Gaddis is the principal author of the "Starting Out with "series of textbooks. Tony teaches computer science courses at Haywood Community College in North Carolina. He is a highly acclaimed instructor who was previously selected as the North Carolina Community College "Teacher of the Year," and has received the Teaching Excellence award from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development. Besides C++ books, the "Starting Out with" series includes introductory books using the Java(TM) programming language, Microsoft(R) Visual Basic(R) .NET, and Microsoft(R) C#(R), all published by Addison-Wesley.
Judy Walters is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. In addition to her many computer science courses, she enjoys teaching a freshman course on film and literature. She also enjoys studying foreign languages and cultures, and recently developed a new course in technology and society, which she taught in Costa Rica Fall 2005, as part of the college's international studies program.
Godfrey Muganda is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, where he chairs the Computer Science Department. He teaches a wide variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels including courses in Object-Oriented Programming, Comparative Programming Languages, and Complier Design. His primary research interests are in the Fuzzy Sets and Systems. He won the North Central College faculty award for outstanding scholarship in 1993.

I Love Systems Engineering

No matter how many years you've practiced your SE skills, there is always some nugget or perspective you can pick-up by reading about others experiences. I never read a book on SE that I didn't like. Martins book covers all the bases, follow it and you will have a solid footing for your SE Practice.
